The 16-HOUR NORM/TENORM Surveyor course is a TWO (2) day class designed to provide relevant knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to conduct site surveys required to detect Naturally Occurring Radioactive Material (NORM) in the oil and gas industry. Regulatory limits for NORM equipment, tubulars, and soils are also discussed. In order to perform NORM surveys and screen equipment/waste for NORM contamination, an individual should/must be trained as a NORM Surveyor, depending on state regulations. This class is two full days include practical use information and field application methods. Classes held will discuss S-280 Energy Transfer program. Each student will have the opportunity to use a NORM meter. Students, who successfully pass the exam, will be trained as NORM/TENORM Surveyors. NORM Surveyor training is renewed every three (3) years according to the Energy Transfer program.
WHAT YOU NEED TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS LIVE STREAM CLASS: 1) Laptop/desktop/cell phone/tablet that will connect to www.Zoom.us with consistent internet access, and has a functioning webcam/camera. 2) Cell phone for texting and/or email address for class correspondence with classmates and the instructor during class. 3) Access to a radiation detection instrument (survey meter) calibrated to NORM ranges. A survey meter is required for class, but renting one from us is optional. If you only have access to your survey meter for one day, then it needs to be on Day 2.
IF YOU NEED TO RENT A SURVEY METER FROM US, SIGN AND RETURN THE SURVEY METER RENTAL AGREEMENT FORM. SELECT THE SURVEY METER RENTAL ALONG WITH THE CLASS REGISTRATION TICKET. IF ADDITIONAL SHIPPING COSTS APPLY TO THE METER RENTAL, WE WILL CONTACT YOU FOR THE ADDITIONAL SHIPPING COST. If you want an optional flash drive, please select the ticket for it along with the class registration ticket.
WHAT WILL HAPPEN BEFORE CLASS: we need your physical address for where you are physically located, so we can ship the reference guide and other class materials to you. If you are registering multiple attendees for one area, please use the same address so shipping class materials is combined. Class materials are shipped soon after your registration is received. THE MONDAY OF THE WEEK OF CLASS: We will email you the meeting ID code for the zoom.us meeting. You should start to log in fifteen (15) minutes before class, and be logged in by 8AM Central for the beginning of the meeting. If any additional instructions or information is needed, then we will contact you prior to the class.
PAYMENT IS WITH YOUR P-CARD (COMPANY CREDIT CARD): To register, follow the instructions. Select at the bottom of this class listing the number of attendees. After adding all of the names and contact information for each attendee, select the PAYPAL payment option. When the system powers over to PayPal, scroll down the bottom of the page for the “Don’t have a PayPal account? Use a debit or credit card” link. Enter in your card information according to the prompts. You should receive two (2) confirmations: one for you being added to the class from our website, and the other as a receipt for the credit card payment from PayPal. The receipt for the credit card payment is your receipt for your expense report.

CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS
In order to register for this class, please complete the registration form below. Payment is required to complete your registration, which you can use a credit card through the website via PayPal. After submitting the registration, click on the “Pay Now” button. Then click on “Pay with a Debit Card or Credit Card or PayPal Credit Card” link to process the payment using a credit card.
Before submitting your credit card information, ensure that no security precautions will block the transaction, and that you are using the correct billing address. The billing address is the address where the bill is received. Most corporate credit cards have monthly limits, daily limits, and single purchase limits. If you are unable to attend a course, you have the option to:
(1) send a replacement attendee, or
(2) to transfer to a future course held within twelve (12) months from the date of the originally registered course, or
(3) to receive a refund within the perimeters of this policy.
You are allowed rescheduling two (2) times after the originally scheduled course. If you are unable to attend and provide at least two (2) weeks prior notice to an originally scheduled course, you may choose to receive a refund. Refunds are not available after rescheduling.
No Shows, without prior notice to the course, are not available for rescheduling, attendee replacement, or refunds, resulting in a forfeited registration fee in full.
In the event that the course is cancelled or rescheduled by NORM SOLUTIONS LLC, you have the option to:
1) receive a refund,
2) to send a replacement to a future class held within twelve (12) months from the date of the cancelled course, or
3) to transfer to a future course held within twelve (12) months from the date of the cancelled course.
If you choose to receive a refund, then the refund will be issued as appropriate under previous policies regarding course transfer rescheduling and replacement attendees. Course cancellation will not count against any allowable reschedule opportunities. A change in the course instructor, facility, or location, is not considered a course cancellation, and will not result in a refund as described in this class cancellation policy.
No refunds are granted once payments are processed. Unused class registrations are valid until twelve (12) months from the registration date.

Attendees hereby authorize NORM SOLUTIONS LLC, to publish photographs taken of attendees during NORM training classes, with their name and likeness for use in NORM SOLUTIONS LLC’s print, online, and video based marketing materials as well as other Company publications. All unauthorized photography, videography and audio recordings are strictly prohibited.
